See more at hittingredline.com . Hillclimbs are an interesting racing genre in the United States. It generally has the same appeal as rally racing, which - although popular in Europe - is only now starting to get a foothold in this country. But as it turns out, the mountains of New England (and, in particular, Vermont) are home to a number of these races, and it was great to be able to see one without having to leave the state. This event in Mt. Ascutney, Vermont included a field of 46 cars, and the excellent weather and (finally) leaf-adorned trees made for some excellent shots. Enjoy the video.
