	Driving the Ford Escort RS1800 on FM4 I am driving the Ford Escort RS1800 at the Top Gear Test Track on Forza Motorsport 4. This car is part of the December IGN Pack. The RS1800 was based on the Mark II Ford Escort for the European market (1975-1980). It was essentially made for rally racing but road-legal versions are proven to be a classic rarity for car enthusiasts. Mk. II Escorts have a reputation for its undefeated run at the RAC rally from 1975 to 1979, winning a host of events worldwide. In the 1979 WRC season, Bjorn Waldegard, who drove a RS1800 rally car, won the driver's title. 2nd-placer Hannu Mikkola and 5th placer Ari Vatanen were also driving rally-spec RS1800's. In 1981, Ari Vatanen drives a rally-spec RS1800 and won the driver's title.
